I missed this game but here is the breakdown
First period very even until the 16:14 mark when we score on a nifty goal by Kyle Gallegos assisted
by Nick Pappas and Tom DeRosa - CC comes back on the PP at 19:43 to tie it going into the second
period ---- again good hockey both ways and very even, anybody's game ---- we grab a 2-1 on the PP
with Gallegos getting his second assisted by Zach Diaco and Dylan Cooper at 15:01 --- in the next
two minutes we make it tough for ourselves allowing two goals in 14 seconds to fall behind 3-2 -----
that is it for the period ---- in the third in spite of playing very well we fall behind 4-2 at 11:44
------ as we have to be involved in one goal games so we make it 4-3 at 16:15, Igor Federov from
Pappas and Nick Metcalfe ---- at 18:42 we yank the but cannot get that tying goal in spite of
peppering the CC goalie --- a tough loss but it should not dampen our outlook for the season ------
third period play is going to be critical all year --- since the league is so well balanced we are not
going to blow folks away nor will teams do that to us --- our games are not for the faint hearted
