Last night met FS a non league rival - First period even hockey play up and down, good period for both
teams - in the second FS grabbed the early lead at 1:31 - Joe Rosano broke the ice for the Jumbos assist
to Zach Diaco at 5:20 - this was quickly followed up at 7:40 with Tom Derosa's goal from Doug Wilson -
at 11:44 Derosa scored gain from Nick Resor (not to be confused with father Tom) and 8 seconds later
they swapped roles to make it 4-0 - this held up for the balance of the period and we went into the third
period in control of the game - from the beginning of the period our play dropped off and FS still felt
they were in the game - a PP play goal at 4:09 made it 4-2, we did not allow another goal until 18:46
to make it 4-3 but we were basicaly waiting for the game to end and fortunately it did with a victory
for the home team - we were the better team and we showed that for a good part of the game but our play
in the third period left a lot to be desired, good fodder for the coach when the troops gather after
the break - good to be sitting at 4-3 overall and we are tied for 6th in NESCAC with Trinity - alot of
great home games the second semester after we get two road trip to Norwich and St. Mike's then Skidmore
and Castleton
