Last night a non conference game against the always tough So. NH team (formerly NHC) at their place
We played the first period as though Thanksgiving dinner was yesterday afternoon and were trying to get back in shape - got outshot 13-3 and outscored 1-0 thanks to some nice play from Mr.Kalec in goal - Guess we got a little goosed up in the second and started to dominate play finally scoring at 7:07, Milo from Wilson and Gimbel -- then very quickly we scored twice (finally) in 33 seconds with some nice passing and hard work - Gimbel and Murphy got the goals and Milo, Wilson, Cappellano and Neumann recorded the assists - later on Joe Rosano got his first college goal, assists to O"Connell and McCarthy, with some hard forechecking by the line, to make it 4-1 ----- Matt Dalton got a penalty shot with seconds remaining, from a covering the puck in the crease call, but the goalie played it well and the final was 4-1 - a much needed win after the tough weekend
The next game is home on Tuesday against Salve followed by two good league home games on the !st and 2nd, NE College and St. Anslems, come join us and see some good hockey -- my report on Salve will have to wait until the 1st, will be in Guatemala again starting early Fri am, Ben
shots were 33-32 us and penalties were 8 us and 10 them - hopefully the penalty total will start to get lower as we get better
