Final regular season game played Sat nite at Trinity
1st period - a tough start for the Jumbos against a very good Trinity team - I think they are a good bet to win the playoffs - anyway 2 early penalties result in 2 goals against and together with a Trinity tally at 17:17 have us down 0-3 after one - shots 8-16
2nd period - we play much better and capitalize on a PP, Sullivan from Hurd and Thompson, at 8:17 only to have an immediate letdown at 8:38 and 9:53 to end up down by four at the halfway mark - we score again on the PP at 12:35, Carceo unassisted, but again Trinity gets it right back at 13:53 - and that is how the period ended - the shots were 16-16 and we played them tough for the entire period
3rd period - 2 quick Trinity goals and a Tufts goal Cleary from Rotondi make it 3-8 at 5:39 and that is how it ended - Kane played goal for Tufts in the 3rd period while Crapser played the first two - shots were 10-7 us with the game total 34-39, penalties were 3TU and 7TR
the score does not show how well we played against a very good club - the playoffs will be as I listed in the Fri game report - we will be at Middlebury Sat afternoon with a likely start at 2 give or take an hour - if anyone plans to go you should check with our athletic dept first (other than parents) since I am sure they will be sold out - it should be a great playoff atmosphere and I have the feeling the team will represent us very well
