Friday night played Castleton St, a very good team with only two losses all year band #1 in their
division ahead of Norwich - got off to a rough spot here with 3 CS goals in the first before we got
a PP goal Sider from Plimmer and Vitale another CS goal made it 4-1 going into the second - A quick
goal by Derpsa from John and Cooper closed the gap to two but that was as close as we got - we scored
in the third period Vitale from Sider but the final was 8 - 3 ----- over 1000 attended the game
Saturday at Skidmore it was better but not good enough - we fell behind in the first period early (1:29)
but tied it up Davis from Cooper and Derosa at 8:08 only to have Skidmore tally twice to make it 3-1
going into the second - we closed the gap to one with a goal Vitale from Federov and Davis but again
that was as close as we got - shots were even in the game so the 6-2 final did not indicate the level
of play by our guys --- a tough weekend against two teams who are very hard to beat up there
This coming weekend two big games against Wesleyan and Trinity at there places, 7:00 and 4:00 respectively - then two games at home against U of NE an upset winner over Amherst and So. Maine --- the final two games are at St. Michaels and Norwich, up there
