I think we all know what a "trap game" is and we played one last nite - while a tie with Bowdoin and a win over Colby were dancing in our heads and two big road games against Hamilton and Amherst loom this weekend, we managed to lose to J and W 2-1 ---- in an exact opposite of many games where we get outshot, have too many penalties etc we have only 5 penalties to their 10, outshoot them 49 to 29, go 0/7 on the PP and end up on the short end of the score - Azat played well in goal but you don't win many when only one goes by the other guy - so lets put that behind us and concentrate on this weekend - O'Connell scored the only goal from Cappelllano and G McCarthy
Notes: Matt McCarthy was the NESCAC player of the week, he scored the tying goal at Bowboin and potted three at Colby - I can imagine he will start to draw a little more attention from the opposition from here on in
The team banquet will be April 20th at the Carmichael function room, same as last year
The golf outing is June 9th at Sandy Burr, same as last year
