Friday night Bowdoin ranked #4 - we jump out front at 4:36 Gallegos from Mellgren - later Bowdoin tied
it up and went ahead on a SH goal at 12:48 after a furious Tufts pressure on the PP, a tough one to give
up but it was a clean breakaway ----- in the second Bowdoin scored three more to go up by four - we came
back on a PP at 12:35, John from Plimmer and Vitale --- in the third there was no scoring - both teams
had plenty of chances but both goalies were playing well - a 5-2 loss but no lack of effort on our part
On Saturday Colby came to town - they got off to a quick start at 3:26 but we came back to tie it up at
11:10 Derosa from Gallegos and then go ahead at the bell, 19:57, Davis from Diaco --- in the second we
play well, outshoot Colby but only one goal and they got it at 3:16 to tie it up - a lot of shots both
ways but the Colby goalie and Kolieni played well ---- in the third Colby put the game away with three
tallies at the 5 ,8 and 18 mark ---- shots were 50-43 them --- again we worked hard but just could not
dent the scoring column enough
It does not get easier this weekend when we go up to Castleton and Skidmore - both teams, particularly
Castleton, have had some impressive wins
