Two tough away games this weekend at Trinity and Wesleyan both clubs with winning records - at Trinity Friday night - Trinity opened up the scoting at 4;52 of the first to grab the lead ---- Late in the period we responded at 14:55 to tie it up White from Granato and Gallegos that is how it ended - lot of shots both ways, good period ---- in the second we go ahead early Voigt from Barker at 2:06, play is again, not many penalties - they tie it up at 8:57 but that was it going into the third ------ then disaster in the form of a badly missed offside (only about 6 feet) resulting in a Trinity goal right off the faceoff at 0:11 - that coupled with another goal at 2:51 had a serious deflating effect on everyone - we hung in there for the rest of the game with the only goal an open net one at 18:01 for the 5-2 final

At Wesleyan for starters the head of officiating apologized to Coach Murphy for the bad job of officiating on Friday night i.e. the offside goal - the game itself was more of the same - a few penalties, lotta shots, good play - Wesleyan broke the ice at 14:57 for the only goal of the period ------ we started the scoring in the second scoring a shorthanded goal early in the period, Bell from Metcalf and White - later in the period we went ahead, even up, White from Voigt and Metcalf - this held up into the third period - Wesleyan tied it at 9:03 on the PP and this is how the game ended after the OT - our Trinity Wesleyan series ended up at 1-1-2 for the year, pretty even all around

Injuries continue to plague us with many starters not in the lineup, we have 25 skaters and have used them all Some big home games on tap - in order on the weekends at home vs Williams and Middlebury, at home again vs Amherst and Hamilton, then H and A vs Conn College and ending up on the road vs. Bowdoin and Colby
