The end of another rode trip up in Saratoga NY
1st Period - not much to say - no scoring - we get outshot and not playing at a high level
2nd Period - we come out playing pretty well and get a PP goal at 4:50 Hird from Carceo and Jack Thompson - We go two up when Zak Smotherman gets his first Tufts goal, unassisted at 8:19 - Skidmore comes right back to make it 2-1 at 9:05 and that is how it was for the rest of the period
3RD Period - we are not play our best, a little tired, and it starts to show - Skidmore scores at 4:52 and another at 12:32 to make it 3-2 them - we do our best but it isn't good enough - we pull the goalie in the last minute but we can't pull the trigger and the game goes into the lost column
All in all not a disaster - we have played 5 away games in 9 days, in order in VT, in Western Ma, in CT, back in Western Ma, then NY and we came out of it 3-2 and out of the cellar in Nescac to the middle of the pack - alot to look forward to - with 4 w's and a tie that is better than all of last year with a total of 4 wins
big weekend coming up at home vs Bowdoin and Colby, both in the top 12 in Div 3 - also a non league game with Suffolk Tues --- stay tuned
