At Suffolk last night - an up and down period for the Jumbos and 2-2 tie was about all we could hope for - Wilson (5) opened the scoring on the PP at 7:45, from McCarthy and Gimbel only to have Suffolk tie it up 21 seconds later - we went ahead at 13:45 McCarthy (2) from Gimbel and Hertzog again having Suffolk tie it up less than a minute later - the old adage that your softest time is right after a goal seems to bug us - a less than stellar performance in the first for us - we start to play better in the second getting a PP goal at 1:54 McCarthy (3) from Herzog and Clark - play then is up and down with both goalies playing well (Azat for us) - we go up 4-2 at 14:27 with some nice passing from Bailey and Korchin to set up Crosby for the score - again Suffolk comes back with a score to make it 4-3 and that holds up for the period ------- in the third we start to dominate but cannot finish off the plays, we outshoot them 14-6 in the period, Suffolk shoots themselves in the foot with 6 penalties in the final 4 minutes to give us multiple scoring chances but it ends 4-3 ---- hopefully some of those "almosts" will be goals this weekend - we again dressed nine freshman and all played well - with their experience and the return of some key players who knows

Bowdoin Fri nite and Colby Sat afternoon, 7:30 and 4:00
